Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ScreenPeace mobile application ("App") operated by Prime Wave Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account. The App is designed for parents and guardians to manage screen time for children in their family. By creating an account, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of any children whose profiles you create.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and parent PIN.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You must not share your account with anyone outside your family.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier: ScreenPeace offers a free tier with limited features (1 child profile, 2 schedules per child, today's usage stats).

Pro Subscription: ScreenPeace Pro unlocks additional features including multiple child profiles, unlimited schedules, weekly insights, and smart alerts.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions).
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.
• Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency in the App.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to monitor anyone who is not your child or legal dependent
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's services or servers

5. Screen Time Management

ScreenPeace uses Apple's Screen Time APIs (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, DeviceActivity) to help you manage your children's device usage. Please note:

• Screen time data is approximate and depends on Apple's reporting accuracy.
• The App requires both parent and child devices to be in the same Apple Family Sharing group for full functionality.
• Phone calls and emergency services are never restricted, regardless of any screen time schedules or locks.
• We are not responsible for any actions your children take on their devices.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Prime Wave Labs and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Screen time data will be 100% accurate at all times
• The App will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prime Wave Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted from our servers.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
